This is the easiest set of directions we give anyone: Lucas City Hall and Lucas Community Park sit at 665 Country Club Road. Sunflower Massage is at 560 Country Club Road in Wylie. Head south. About 4.6 miles, roughly 8 minutes.
Country Club Road is the local name for the FM 1378 corridor, which runs south through Lucas as West Lucas Road and Southview Drive before becoming Country Club Road in Wylie. Lovejoy ISD's administration building is on it too. Lucas families already live their week on this road.
There is no massage spa in Lucas, and there is a structural reason for that: the city zones for acreage, with a two-acre minimum in much of it and a density of under 500 people per square mile. There is almost nowhere for retail to go. Horses, gravel drives, no sidewalks — that is the trade Lucas made on purpose, and the cost is that everything else is a drive.
Most of our Lucas guests fall into two groups. Riders and hikers off the Trinity Trail — the 25.5-mile route along Lavon Lake, with the Brockdale Park trailhead right in Lucas — who come in with the kind of hip and lower-back tightness a long day in the saddle produces. And people who simply want an hour that nobody can interrupt.
If you are coming from the Brockdale Estates or Creekside Estates side, you are already on the corridor. From the western end near SH 5, cut across on West Lucas Road and pick up Southview Drive south.
